I can't remember the title of a black and white movie where in one scene there is a man and woman dancing, he was to go off to war. She either was afraid he wouldn't return or he'd forget about her. He told her that when he left, he would wave to her with his aircraft. A few scenes later (when he left) he toggled his aircraft to signal her, thus, she remembers what he told her on the dance floor. Is there anyone out ther who might be able to help me w/this title?

Re: can't remember the title
Tue, December 27, 2005 - 12:33 AMI can't help you, Chris, but I'd like to post another "can't remember the title" entry for a movie for which I've been trying to remember the title for years, if anyone can help me. I think it may have been French, and probably from the early-to-mid 80s. It was an erotic film, set in WWII, France (I think). The plot involves a pharmacist, and his wife, who becomes heavily involved in a dominance/submission relationship with another man. As the war erupts around them, she becomes more and more out of control in the relationship, and the end of the movie has the wife offering her daughter to the man as her final act of submission, while the bombs are falling and the buildings are crumbling around them. Does this strike a bell with anyone? I've been dying to see it again for ages.
