Some overly arty cinematography aside, this movie has really terrific stuff going on for it.

I had seen the trailer when it came out and thought, "Ho hum, Sean Penn is amazing as a mentally handicapped guy, in some movie of the week type Hollywood product." But, now having seen it, I really think this film is much more than this. All the key actors are terrific and much of the writing is the same.

If you were even thinking you might want to see this film, but didn't, check it out.
